Response to COVID -19
We are taking a number of actions to protect the health and well-being of our customers and staff to control the spread of COVID-19 (coronavirus) in accordance with the expert guidance of the CDC and local public health authorities. Read below for an at-a-glance overview on how Mynt Barbershop is navigating through COVID-19.
Our commitment to you is that we will continue to make decisions that are grounded in transparency and science – for our staff and the guests that we serve. We continue to closely monitor guidance from local and national health authorities and will update our procedures as needed to adhere to the most effective health and safety standards.
Additionally, our industry is regulated by the State of Texas (TDLR). This governing body has many requirements that are audited. These requirements go hand in hand with keeping the shop safe and sanitary for all staff and guests. TDLR will often provide recommended guidance as it relates to any additional COVID-19 Safety measures that might be prudent.

What to expect
All professionals must wash hands regularly and apply hand sanitizer before each appointment.
Barbers clean and disinfect all supplies and equipment with an EPA Registered disinfectant after each use.
We consistently disinfect high traffic areas of the shop on a regular basis.
Facial coverings are optional for all staff and guests. HOWEVER, all staff will be happy to wear a facial covering upon any request.
We recommend that all guests use the provided hand sanitizer after touching high traffic surfaces (example: iPad when checking out).
In accordance with TDLR (Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation), all towels and capes are washed using a bleach solution and hot water.
